A meeting between the leadership of Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Doha

The two delegations stressed the unity of the Palestinian resistance in the field and politics to achieve the goals of our Palestinian people at the interim and strategic levels, and praised the unity of the resistance front and the arenas of support in Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq.

The attendees paused at the legendary steadfastness and generosity of the Palestinian people despite the brutal massacres carried out by the occupation and the war of extermination that it waged on the Gaza Strip, the last of which was the Nuseirat camp massacre two days ago. They praised the performance of the resistance, its steadfastness and its ability to defend our people and confront the occupation’s aggression, direct successive strikes at it and abort its political goals. The two delegations discussed developments in the indirect negotiations and efforts made to stop the war, stressing that any agreement must include a permanent cessation of aggression, a comprehensive withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, reconstruction, an end to the siege, and a serious exchange deal.
