Just a year before the so-called "State of Israel" was proclaimed on May 14th, 1948, The New York Times was still calling Palestine's Jews "settlers" and the Arabs "natives." They knew very well that the real native inhabitants were the Palestinians.

Yet, Jewish settlers already had this unfounded belief in their own "superiority."

I urge everyone to read the entire 77-year-old article. It was written before Israel existed.

You'll see that the plan for ethnic cleansing and genocide was always there, and the dehumanization of Palestinians is deeply ingrained in the very core of Zionism.
