The FDA, UK trade union for managers and professionals in public service, has sued the UK government over its instruction to break international law when it comes to the ECHR. The case will be adjudicated promptly, as flights to Rwanda are expected to resume as soon as we get a new government.

Context: although, at first glance, it might seem immaterial to Gaza, this is not the case. In fact, if the judge rules that civil servants cannot be instructed to break international law, this will have MAJOR repercussions for civil servants in the Foreign Office and the Minister of Defence, currently sending weapons and spy planes to Israel despite the ruling of the ICJ.
