Palestinian militants managed to infiltrate into the Gaza Strip and opened fire on Israeli soldiers near the Kerem Shalom crossing.

The weapons that were with the Palestinian fighters indicate that they intended to storm a military base.

The Israeli army did not know about the existence of the tunnel in this area and believed that it had eliminated all the tunnels there.

A Palestinian militant managed to withdraw and return to the Gaza Strip

The infiltration into the Gaza envelope began at four in the morning between Kerem Shalom and Haulit, and a force of Bedouin soldiers was sent to that area and engaged in a clash with Palestinian fighters -

the Palestinian cell was armed with RPGs and not only light weapons - despite the clash with the Bedouin battalion, the militants were able to return to Gaza Strip, and a drone killed 3 of them inside Gaza
