Starvation kills yet another child in Gaza.

Child Faiz Abu Ataya passed away this morning at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, Gaza, due to starvation.

Seven-month-old Fayez Abu Ataya died due to malnutrition and a shortage of medical supplies, amid the ongoing Israeli war and the tight siege imposed by the Israeli occupation.

A medical source told Anadolu Agency, "Fayez was born during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip (which began on October 7, 2023) and suffered due to a lack of treatment because of the closure of crossings by the occupation leading to the territory."

The same medical source pointed out that the child was "in need of special milk and treatment for his illness which was not available in the Gaza Strip due to the war."

Anadolu Agency captured poignant images of the infant martyr's body at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. His skeletal frame was starkly visible as his father held him in tears.
