π« Many people wonder what effect defenses such as the Strela and SAM-7 carried on the shoulder have on Apache helicopters.
We have seen aircraft in other wars fall in front of these systems, even if they are old, so why cannot the resistance do that?
First, do not compare old Soviet helicopters with modern, developed Apache helicopters.
Which had response systems and smart systems inside it to deal with what was stronger than these systems, but were the Qassams working to bring it down?
Of course not.
The goal of these operations is to intercept and activate the alarms in the helicopter to force it to withdraw and leave the airspace. Even if it is intended to strike targets, activating and launching anti-missiles forces it to cancel its operations - Sources.

Amid Britainβs ongoing complicity and support for Israelβs βplausible genocideβ in Gaza, up to 300 civil servants in the Foreign Office have formally raised concerns with ministers, seeking a change of course.
They are questioning ministersβ actions and policy in relation to Gaza and asking to see the legal advice they received that this is based on β advice that they have so far refused to publish, despite calls to do so from some in parliament.

Middle East Eye:
British doctors and organisations are part of an initiative called Project Pure Hope began efforts in January to bring four siblings and their cousin from Gaza as a "test case" to see what would happen.
Three of the siblings, whose parents were killed, had suffered traumatic amputations and required further medical treatment, which pediatric hospitals across Britain were prepared to provide.
Over Β£500,000 ($636,000) was raised, enough to cover their treatment, and arrangements were made for the childrenβs aunt and grandmother to accompany them, according to those involved.
The issue was visas.
βWe made many, many attempts to try to get a visa for these children and, sadly, despite many good-hearted civil servants, when it got to the highest level, we just heard nothing back,β Kandiah told MEE.
Five months later, with British hospitals and medical professionals still at the ready, Kandiah and others say they are unaware of any legal pathways available to bring these children to the UK, nor have they heard of any Palestinian children seeking medical treatment being admitted.
They point to the care Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani campaigner for girlβs education, received at a Birmingham hospital after she was shot by a Taliban gunman and, more recently, Ukrainian children with cancer whom the National Health Service (NHS) brought to England in 2022 for treatment, along with their family members.
