๐พ๐ช Ansarallah Political Bureau member, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti:

Any condemnation or resolution issued by the Security Council against Yemen because it strives to stop the crimes of genocide to please its perpetrators, in addition to its previous failure to issue a resolution obligating "israel" to stop its crimes, will lead to the waste of what remains of its legitimacy as an organization supporting global security and peace, and will confirm the validity of our view of the necessity to reform the international system to take into account the needs of the oppressed.
We affirm once again that our military operations against "israel" will not stop unless it stops the crimes of genocide in Gaza and allows the entry of food and medicine for its residents, regardless of any resolution or statement issued by the Security Council today.

What the Red Sea is witnessing is an external reflection of the conflict in Gaza, and we called for the necessity of stopping hostilities in Gaza.
We regret that the Security Council's resolution regarding the Houthis did not include a ceasefire in Gaza.

The World Health Organization delayed another scheduled medical assistance mission to Gaza on Wednesday because of security concerns, making it the sixth such postponement in two weeks.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced that the cancelation was because mission requests had not been granted or security guarantees had not been provided since its previous visit on December 26.
Addressing a virtual press conference, the director-general expressed that "Intense bombardment, restrictions on movement, fuel shortage and interrupted communications make it impossible for WHO and our partners to reach those in need."
The Israeli occupation has put the Gaza Strip under siege for more than 96 days, banning the much-needed entry of food, water, fuel, and medicine to Gazans.

Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi, Head of the Revolutionary Committee in Yemen, in response to the UN Security Council's decision to condemn Yemeni Armed Forces operations:
โ
We demand that the "israeli" entity immediately cease all attacks that hinder life and its continuity in Gaza and undermine the rights, freedoms, and regional peace and security.
We also demand that the Security Council immediately release 2,300,000 people from the "israeli"-American blockade, which has become a deadly weapon, turning Gaza into the largest prison where collective criminal punishment is practiced.
We affirm the necessity of defending against injustice as dictated by our religion and values, and that the actions of the Yemeni Armed Forces is within the framework of legitimate defense. Any act they face will have a reaction, and any state that attacks bears the responsibility for aggression and the protection of the usurping entity that commits massacres under American and British protection, thereby violating international law along with "israel".
We inform the peoples of the world that the decision adopted regarding the security of navigation in the Red Sea is a political game, and that the United States is the one violating international law.

โ
We condemn the Security Council's adoption of a resolution condemning the operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces against zionist ships, which aim to lift the oppression on the people of Gaza and to stop the genocide, at a time when the same council fails to do so.
This unjust resolution comes amidst the Council's inability to issue a resolution condemning the brutal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza, due to American hegemony, confirming the international system's failure to protect human rights.
Yemen has triumphed morally and humanely over the international system, which was established to protect human rights, especially during wars.
We call on the peoples of our nation and its free people to confront the American aggression and bullying that targets the unity and resources of the nation.
