Many people have been seeing reports of old M113 armored personnel carriers being used in Gaza, here is a bit of info about what they are and how the IDF is using them:


The IDF Unmanned APC M113, also known as the Remotely Controlled M113 Armored Personnel Carrier, is a modified version of the M113 APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) used by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The IDF Unmanned APC M113 is equipped with remote control capabilities. This vehicle is used particularly in urban environments or situations where enemy engagement is likely. The unmanned M113 can be used to perform reconnaissance, surveillance, and other missions.Additionally, the unmanned M113 can be armed with weapons systems, such as machine guns or grenade launchers.
