The Ministry of Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners reports that the vast majority of Gaza Strip prisoners are going into the unknown inside the basements, prisons and camps of the Israeli occupation, since the beginning of the genocidal war waged by the occupation against our Palestinian people since October 2023 AD.

Detainees are located in secret detention centers, such as the “Sde Taman” detention center in the Negev, which is notorious for the harsh treatment they are subjected to, in addition to all types of severe and systematic torture, especially at the beginning of the days of detention.

The security services continue the task of completing the investigation to take information from the detainees in compelling circumstances, including beatings, ghosts, and many types of torture, so that the occupation security services need confessions and information by any means possible.

The Israeli occupation refuses, until this moment, to deal with any institution or entity that inquires or requests to visit any detainee, especially the International Committee of the Red Cross.

According to the information we received; There are large numbers of people whom the occupation has finished investigating and dealing with and refuses to release.

We affirm that what the prisoners are exposed to in the occupation prisons is a continuation of the crime, which is a complex crime against our people and their prisoners, and it confirms what we have repeatedly mentioned, that the occupation practices murder, execution, and sadism against the prisoners, and imposes on them terms and conditions that are extremely cruel and criminal, thereby violating all customs and laws. International and humanitarian.

The Ministry of Prisoners and Ex-Detainees condemns the heinous crimes that prisoners and detainees have been subjected to in Israeli occupation prisons since the seventh of last October, and holds the Israeli occupation and the American administration responsible for the ongoing crimes against Palestinian prisoners, which are inconsistent with all international and humanitarian norms and laws.

The Ministry of Ex-Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners calls on the international community and all international, legal and humanitarian organizations and institutions to assume their responsibilities towards this serious issue that the world has never witnessed before.

The Ministry of Prisoners and Ex-Detainees calls for the opening of a serious international investigation into the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against defenseless prisoners, and to put international pressure on the occupation to open secret prisons and detention centers for international institutions, organizations, and lawyers to visit them and learn about the conditions of the prisoners there.

We call on the Palestinian national community and the various sectors and segments of our great people to support and care for the families of the prisoners and their children and to stand by them in light of these harsh conditions in which our people are living under genocide.
