UK Labour Party leader Starmer wants to recognize Palestinian state as part of peace process — Reuters

Britain's opposition leader Keir Starmer said on Friday he wanted to recognize a Palestinian state if he won power in an upcoming general election, but conditional on a peace process.

Starmer can’t afford to lose the money from the Labour Friends of Israel, but also can’t afford to haemorrhaging votes to the Greens, Workers’ Party, and various independents.

As usual, he takes the middle way that leads nowhere.
