Use your mind, be critical, and don't allow anything to influence your thoughts. Do research. Figure it out.
Many of us pick a side because we dislike the other side.

The UK made its 21-page “declaration of intervention” jointly with five other countries, but it is not supporting South Africa as it prepares to try to convince the ICJ on Thursday that Israel is at risk of committing genocide against the Palestinian people.
“It would be wholly disingenuous if the UK, six weeks after advancing such a significant and broad definition of genocide in the case of Myanmar, now adopts a narrow one in the case of Israel.” stated Tayab Ali, head of international law at Bindmans.

Defense Minister Yoav Galant says in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that the IDF is close to the next stage, and the forces may change course from the intensive maneuvering phase of the war towards special operations with other features. "My basic approach: we are fighting against an entire axis, and not against just one enemy. Iran is building a military force around Israel in order to use it."
On the possibility of escalation against Hezbollah, Gallant said: "The priority is not to go to war with Hezbollah, but 80 thousand people should be able to return to their homes safely. If there is no agreement that would allow this - Israel will not refrain from military action. The chairman of the Israel Beitenu faction, MK Oded Forer, began this morning to collect 70 signatures from members of all factions in the House in order to bring about the removal of MK Ofer Kasif from the Israeli Knesset.
As I recall, MK Kasif signed a petition against Israel supporting the complaint filed by South Africa for "genocide" in Gaza. He even added on social media that the government commits "crimes" in the name of the people.
MK Oded Porer: "The treasonous words of MK Kasif can no longer be heard while the blood of our soldiers and citizens screams from the ground. MK Kasif, who was previously disqualified from running for the Knesset following a petition I submitted to the election committee, chose during the war to join one of the most destructive initiatives for the security of the State of Israel and thus he supports the struggle of Hamas against Israel. He must quickly find himself beyond the borders of the Knesset and preferably beyond the borders of the State of Israel."
