A statement issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces

In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful

A victory for the oppression of the Palestinian people and a response to the American-British aggression against our country

The naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting the American destroyer "Maysun" in the Red Sea with a number of suitable naval missiles, and the hit was accurate, thanks to God.

While the naval forces, the missile force, and the armed forces’ air force carried out a joint operation targeting the ship (Destiny) in the Red Sea, and the hit was accurate, thanks to God.

The targeting of the ship came after it violated the decision banning the passage of ships heading to the ports of occupied Palestine by heading to the port of Umm al-Rashrash last April 20, using deception and camouflage by claiming it was heading to another port. However, it was under monitoring and follow-up by our armed forces, and warnings were directed to it not to enter the ports. Occupied Palestine insisted on violating the ban and became on the list of targeted ships prohibited from sailing in the area of operations of the Yemeni armed forces.

The Yemeni Armed Forces, with God’s help and then with the support and backing of our great Yemeni people and all free people of the nation, continue to carry out their military operations in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in defense of dear Yemen, and these operations will not stop except by lifting the siege and stopping the aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

And God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs, the best protector, and the best helper
