Miami-Dade police are investigating shots fired overnight outside a Jewish center in North Miami Beach. Reportedly, a police vehicle was hit at the scene. 

North Miami Beach police issued a statement saying a person fled the area and was quickly involved in a two car crash near NW 1 Ave and NW 167 Street. 

Police say one of the drivers in the crash matched the description of the fleeing person. 

Note:

It seems like the shooting has nothing to do with the Jewish center other than the fact that it was nearby the headline is just misleading.
