A press statement issued by the government media office:
The "Israeli" occupation's decision to close Al Jazeera and confiscate its capabilities is a legal crime, a resounding scandal, and a blatant violation of freedom of opinion and expression.
The Israeli occupation government announced its decision to close Al Jazeera, prevent it from operating inside Israel, and confiscate its resources, in a clear crime and in violation of international law, as this is considered a blatant violation of freedom of opinion and expression and a fatal blow to the occupation and its various agencies, which have always falsely praised democracy and human rights, to confirm However, it is an occupation that delights in committing various violations.
Al Jazeera has succeeded in providing a unique media model over many years through its creativity in dealing with news and its excellence in managing information creatively, which ensures the principle of the public’s freedom to obtain information.
The "Israeli" occupation has repeatedly failed to silence the voice of Al Jazeera by adopting multiple methods against it. It assassinated its journalists, such as Sherine Abu Aqla, Samer Abu Daqqa, and others, and tried to assassinate them, such as Wael Al-Dahdouh, Ismail Abu Omar, and others, and practiced actual harassment of its journalists in the field through... Detaining them, assaulting them, bombing their homes, or intimidating and terrorizing them, until today it has reached a resounding scandal by taking a disastrous decision to close Al Jazeera and confiscate its resources under false pretexts.
In light of this crime and the resounding scandal of the occupation, we in the government media office condemn in the strongest terms the “Israeli” occupation’s decision to close Al-Jazeera, prevent it from working inside “Israel” and confiscate its capabilities, and we call on all press unions and all bodies related to human rights in the world to condemn this crime, which constitutes... A clear violation of international law, and a flagrant violation of freedom of opinion and expression.
We condemn the shameful silence of many countries that consider themselves guardians of the world and human rights, while they are engaged in a war of genocide, and participating in the war to silence the mouths of media professionals, journalists, and their media outlets, and we call for exposing them on the widest levels.
We call on all media outlets and media professionals in the Arab world and the world to declare full solidarity with Al Jazeera, and to support it in this decisive battle over truth, narrative, and morality until this criminal occupation withdraws from its heinous crime. We also call on all media outlets to mobilize their energies in confronting the arrogance of the “Israeli” occupation. In the context of exposing him for the crimes and massacres he is committing against our Palestinian people as part of the genocidal war, which has entered its eighth month in a row.

"We swear by the soul of Raed Al-Attar, and his brother in prison, we swear, we swear...Do what you want, bomb as much as you want, for the battle is coming. For as our men did on October 7th, we will repeat it on your heads."
The words of a wounded man outside the bombed Al-Attar family home in Yabna camp, Rafah, where 6 martyrs ascended earlier today.
Read Al-Attar is the martyred commander of the Rafah Brigade of the Al-Qassam Brigades, who commanded Operation Dissipated Solution to kidnap Gilad Shalit and was martyred in an airstrike in 2014

Haaretz, according to a foreign source familiar with the negotiations:
Israel wants Hamas to accept or reject the Egyptian initiative as it is without going into details -
the Israeli method in negotiations leaves the impression that
Netanyahu is someone who does not want to reach an agreement
Netanyahu does not agree to enter into negotiations or clarify matters that require clarification
The head of the CIA went to Qatar to save the deal from collapse

Details from the Israeli war cabinets meeting:
The Egyptian proposal for the exchange deal received the support of all members of the military cabinet, including the heads of the military services, while Netanyahu expressed concerns, but in the end the broad outlines were approved.
In the expanded government session held after the war cabinet meeting, Netanyahu and the heads of the security services decided not to present the details to the members of the expanded government, for fear of leaks that would harm the negotiations.
Sources familiar with the deal negotiations said that Hamas sent a positive message at the beginning of the negotiations stating its willingness not to commit to ending the war, in the first phase of the deal. However, according to the same sources, two parallel things happened that pushed Hamas to harden its positions:
The first is that Israel agreed, in the current broad outlines, to things that it rejected two months ago.
The second thing is the statements of the Prime Minister and government ministers, such as National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, that with or without an agreement, “the Israeli army will occupy Rafah.”

🚨 A leadership source in the Palestinian resistance to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed:
—
The notion that the resistance is forced to accept the crumbs offered by the occupier or the American administration under the pressure of preventing the invasion of Rafah is a delusional perception, because the resistance cannot, given the scale of sacrifices and steadfastness shown by the people of the Strip, but reach an agreement that preserves these sacrifices.
The movement continues to negotiate and remains open to it positively in appreciation of the efforts of the Egyptian and Qatari mediators, although so far, the "israeli" side has not provided any indications of engaging in a serious and genuine agreement.
If Netanyahu is threatening the resistance with an invasion of Gaza, it is now the factions that are warning him and everyone in the region about the consequences of what will happen. The region before the invasion of Rafah will not be the same as after it, and it is necessary for the "israeli" side to realize that Rafah will not be a walk in the park.
