In light of the occupation’s violation of all aspects of life, “Israel” is still waging a barbaric and genocidal war against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The “Israeli” occupation army has turned the Gaza Strip into a disaster area by destroying and targeting various civilian and humanitarian facilities, until the Gaza Strip lacks The simplest types of services are experiencing a major health and environmental catastrophe and a fertile environment for the spread of diseases and epidemics.

Since the beginning of the aggression and genocidal war, the Israeli occupation army has deliberately worked to destroy all means of human life, prevent access to water, fuel and spare parts, destroy water and electricity networks, and target and destroy roads, water wells, sewage plants and infrastructure.

*As the "Israeli" aggression entered its eighth month on the Gaza Strip, the extent of the damage to the infrastructure and property of the Nuseirat municipality was/*

▪️ About 27,000 square meters of main and secondary roads and streets, as well as 5 main squares and intersections, were destroyed.

▪️ 12 water wells, about 4,250 linear meters of water networks, 15 water valves, and 2 desalination plants were destroyed.

▪️ Sewage water is overflowing in some of the streets of Nuseirat as a result of the scarcity of fuel and the occupation’s destruction of the main water and sewage lines as part of its deliberate targeting of the infrastructure, as well as the breakdown of the jetter mechanism necessary to sweep and clear the sewage lines.

It is worth noting that the ongoing "Israeli" aggression deprived residents of the most basic human services, such as water, sanitation, and waste collection. This led to the spread of diseases and epidemics due to water scarcity and the spread of insects and rodents due to the accumulation of waste in the streets.

Despite this, the Nuseirat Municipality crews are doing their utmost to provide basic services to citizens, to the extent of their capabilities, despite the difficulties and risks they face due to the ongoing targeting in the field.

We confirm in the Nuseirat Municipality that the quantities of fuel that arrive in very small quantities have caused a major deficit in providing services and created great suffering for citizens in the Gaza Strip due to water scarcity, the accumulation of large quantities of waste, and the leakage of sewage in the streets.

In conclusion, in the face of these great burdens and the responsibility placed upon us, we call on the international community and all international organizations to intervene urgently and save what remains of human life in the Gaza Strip, which is guaranteed by international law, and to work to provide the needs of municipalities, especially diesel, in sufficient quantities to operate water wells and pumps.
