Testimonies received by Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reveal a horrific new level of killing in the Strip: victims whose bodies appear to have evaporated or melted as a result of Israel’s bombing of residential homes.
The shockingly high number of casualties raises fears about the potential use of “thermal weapons”, or what are known as “vacuum bombs”, which are well-known in military circles for their efficacy in demolishing caves and underground tunnel complexes.
A number of the victims killed in these horrifying Israeli raids on residential buildings have vanished and may have turned to ashes, raising questions about the type of bombs used in the attacks.

⚖️ International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutors have held meetings with the staff of Gaza’s two largest hospitals, Al-Shifa Hospital in the north of the strip and Al-Nasser Hospital in the southern city of Khan Yunis.
Two unnamed sources told Reuters on 29 April that ICC prosecutors have listened to the testimonies of several staff members of the two hospitals – both of which have been stormed by the Israeli army since the start of the war in October

Footage posted by the Italian agency for the ship Cyclades after it was targeted by a Shahab drone they claimed to have intercepted.
However, it appears these are the scenes after the strike and during the firefighting efforts.
The documentation is from aboard an Italian frigate that was trying to protect it but failed.
Good ole Italy, always posturing.

The Intercept is now compromised.
Based on leaked diplomatic cable, Ken Klippenstein revealed the US efforts to avoid having to veto UN recognition of Palestine by trying to convince other nations to vote against it.
It was published by editor Bill Arkin over the objections of The Intercept's legal department, which tried to block it with bureaucracy.
Nikita Mazurov, the company’s PhD in “Cultural Studies” who, for some reasons, serves as the manager of digital security emailed Bill a list of over 20 separate “source protection concerns” he believed needed to be answered before publication.
Bill wrote to David Bralow that Mazurov’s list was surely some kind of “joke,” and he forced publication the day before the vote. A week later, Bill was fired.
In solidarity, Ken Klippenstein resigned, and the pair started a Substack.
In his article on Substack, Ken explained, “I can’t continue in an environment where fear of funders is more important than journalism itself”.
