The Israeli occupation killed photojournalists and brothers Ayman and Ibrahim al-Gharbawi in their latest attack on Hamad City in Khan Younis.

Since October 7, "Israel" has killed over 140 journalists in a flagrant violation of freedom of speech, in an attempt to silence the truth of the usurping regime.

According to Reuters, some senior US officials have advised Secretary of State Antony Blinken that they do not find "credible or reliable" Israeli assurances that it is using US-supplied arms in accordance with international humanitarian law.

Under a National Security Memorandum issued by President Joe Biden in February, Blinken must report to Congress by May 8 whether he finds credible "Israel's" assurances that its use of US weapons does not violate US or international law.

By March 24, at least seven State Department bureaus had sent in their contributions to an initial "options memo" to Blinken. Parts of the memo, which has not been previously reported, were classified.

Reuters reported that a joint submission from four bureaus raised "serious concern over non-compliance" with international humanitarian law during "Israel's" prosecution of the Gaza war.

The assessment, according to Reuters, from the four bureaus said the Israeli assurances were "neither credible nor reliable." It cited eight examples of Israeli military actions that the officials said raise "serious questions" about potential violations of international humanitarian law.

The Israeli Channel 12 characterized the present phase as "critical, dramatic, and dire," as it delves into the ongoing negotiations for a potential prisoner exchange deal.

The coverage sheds light on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's position, who opposes certain terms, juxtaposed with the preferences of the security and military establishments within the nation.

According to Nir Devuri, the military affairs commentator on the Israeli channel, those who have recently spoken with Netanyahu understand his stance: "he is reluctant to ease the resolution of the war on Gaza. This factor is crucial in the ongoing negotiations and could have significant consequences."

He emphasized that Netanyahu opposes the return of displaced Palestinians to the northern Gaza Strip, highlighting the importance of overcoming this obstacle, along with the previous one.
