Humeyra Pamuk wrote an interesting article for Reuters.
In an internal State Department memo reviewed by Reuters, some senior U.S. officials have advised Secretary of State Antony Blinken that they do not find "credible or reliable" Israel's assurances that it is using U.S.-supplied weapons in accordance with international humanitarian law.
By March 24, at least seven State Department bureaus had sent in their contributions to an initial "options memo" to Blinken. Parts of the memo, which has not been previously reported, were classified.
In the most extensive picture to date of the divisions inside the State Department over whether Israel might be violating international humanitarian law in Gaza, a joint submission from four bureaus - Democracy Human Rights & Labor; Population, Refugees and Migration; Global Criminal Justice and International Organization Affairs β raised "serious concern over non-compliance" with international humanitarian law during Israel's prosecution of the Gaza war.
The assessment from the four bureaus said Israel's assurances were "neither credible nor reliable." It cited eight examples of Israeli military actions that the officials said raise "serious questions" about potential violations of international humanitarian law.
Under a National Security Memorandum (NSM) issued by President Joe Biden in February, Blinken must report to Congress by May 8 whether he finds credible Israel's assurances that its use of U.S. weapons does not violate U.S. or international law.

Captain (res.) Sa'ar Ram was injured during the war while he was in the tank he commanded. His forehead was broken and he suffered brain damage. His Unit had entered Gaza with Golani fighters. Ram and his crew were spared by the Militants in Gaza for 3 days, until all of a sudden a Mortar or Missile Shell hit the tank Ram was hiding in.
Ram was so frightened by the attack that he hit his head on a Metal bar and broke his forehead. The Gunner of the tank then took command and fled the battle field. Apparently the hole in Rams forehead was repaired with a 3D printed part so now Ram is 95% Human and 5% Plastic.

Another Israeli soldier who refused to be named also broke his forehead after a Hezbollah attack!
Apparently a surgical operation was started to improve his appearance due to a large dent created in his head as a result of the injury. However I suspect that the operation failed since they refuse to show or name who he is. The article did provide a model skull, which was prepared for the surgery. Based off the model provided I believe his head now looks something like this (2nd pic) .

Starting in 2024, Egypt, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Senegal, Algeria, and Saudi Arabia have decided to withdraw their gold reserves from the United States. South Africa, Egypt, and Nigeria are the largest economies in Africa. Egypt, South Africa, and Saudi Arabia joined the BRICS in January 2024.
Additionally, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger left ECOWAS (basically run by the EU). In Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, a pan-African candidate, won the elections.
It looks like more and more resource-rich African countries are leaving the orbit of the West. This is, possibly, due to the Westβs conduct in Gaza.
