“ US President Joe Biden has signed into law legislation that authorizes billions of dollars in war assistance to Israel and Ukraine.
Biden signed the law on Wednesday immediately after it was passed by the Senate.
The aid package, worth $95 billion in total, includes nearly $26 billion in aid for Israel, $61 billion to Ukraine, and $8 billion for what he calls security in Taiwan and the Indo-Pacific.
“We rose to the moment, we came together, and we got it done,” Biden said at White House event to announce the signing. “Now we need to move fast, and we are,” Biden said.
He said the aid package “gives vital support to America's partners so they can defend themselves from threats to their sovereignty.”
Biden said he is "making sure the shipments start right away, in the next few hours."

Nour Shams - As part of the efforts made to improve the conditions of refugees and under the auspices of the Department of Refugee Affairs of the Palestine Liberation Organization, an agreement was signed between the People’s Committee for Nour Shams Camp Services and Al-Shifa Medical Supplies Company, with funding from the Japanese government. The agreement included the supply of medical equipment to the Nour Shams Charitable Society for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled.
Equipment was supplied on the same day at an estimated value of about $22,000, including beds, medical mattresses, crutches, wheelchairs, and oxygen devices, to meet the needs of residents in Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm Governorate.
The People's Committee for Services in Nour Shams Camp thanked the Department of Refugee Affairs and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for these vital projects that would alleviate the suffering of refugees in their daily lives.
