A lot of people have seen people say or articles that are titled:

Note:

First and foremost this does not mean that Hamas is working with Israel.

The Palestinian state he is referring to here is the West Bank and Gaza only, this is a position that Hamas rejects even with their updated 2017 charter. Hamas accepts the 2 state solution but rejects the recognition of Israel, which gives the political ability to still have claims over the rest of occupied Palestine.

- Netanyahu’s goal was aimed to limit international political pressure to push for a Palestinian state with the Fatah Political party.

- The entire point of sanctions is to make the living conditions so miserable in a country to the point where the people there protest and overthrow the government. Netanyahu allowing money to be transferred means that there is no point of sanctions.

Qatar funding was listed as humanitarian aid for government services, they also are not working with Israel.

From the United States perspective they should punish Israel for this, no matter how you view it. Israel has essentially indirectly funded an opposing party to hurt the United States interests in the region.

This all blew up in Netanyahu’s face on October 7th.

Also if you watch most mainstream western media outlets you will see them attack Netanyahu directly but not the state of Israel.
