Amidst the aftermath of the genocidal war in Gaza, “hundreds of women have become widows, and children orphaned,” revealed Shlomi Nachumson, CEO of the IOF Widows and Orphans Organization.

🔻 Insufficient State Aid: IOF widows testified before the Knesset, complaining of the inadequate support from the state. Raz Tahan, whose husband Ran fell in Gaza, highlighted the meager stipend from the Defense Ministry, leaving families struggling for education and basic livelihood. "We need help," she begged.

📉 Job Insecurity: Another widow shared how her sister-in-law was fired from her job after her husband's death.

📈 Worsening situation: As IOF casualties mount, widows pregnant, and the treasury delaying crucial budget allocations, the outlook remains dire.
