🔽More than 4 Israeli governments and 7 assassination attempts against the son of death and the ash phoenix, Commander Muhammad Al-Deif, as Israel calls him.

Attempts to assassinate Muhammad began in 2001, a year after his escape from the Palestinian Authority prison in 2000.

He was subjected to his first assassination attempt in 2001, but survived.

A year later, in 2002, Al-Deif’s vehicle was targeted by an Apache helicopter that fired two missiles at it. It was one of the most famous attempts to assassinate Al-Deif in late September 2002, as Israel admitted that he miraculously survived when its helicopters bombed cars in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza, after initially confirming that Al-Deif was killed in the attack.

In 2003, an Israeli plane attempted to assassinate Al-Deif and other Hamas leaders in a house in Gaza City, but he survived.

In 2006, a house in which Al-Deif was staying was meeting with leaders of the Qassam Brigades. It was hit by a missile and another house was accidentally hit. Israel struck the house again, but Muhammad survived again.

During the war launched by Israel on the Gaza Strip in 2014, which lasted more than 50 days, the Israeli army failed to assassinate Muhammad Al-Deif, but his wife, Widad, and his infant son, Ali, were killed, and the targeted area was completely destroyed.

During the May 2021 war, which lasted 11 days, the Israeli army failed to assassinate Al-Deif twice, after he tried to reach him by bombing military areas and sites belonging to Hamas.
