What happened in the "Al-Zinna" ambush?

Al-Zana is a border area located east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. It was destroyed massively by the occupation during the war, and reports of battles from it stopped for a long time.

- Half a year after the war... in a complex ambush, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that they had killed 9 soldiers and wounded others, targeted 3 Merkavah tanks, and detonated bombs carried out by successive rescue forces, in Al-Zinah, east of Khan Yunis.

- The ambush began by firing "Al-Yassin 105" shells towards Merkvah tanks, then setting the rescue force in another ambush and detonating a minefield with them.

- Again, Al-Qassam detonated an anti-personnel bomb with the rescue and rescue forces and soldiers who fled the place and barricaded themselves inside a house near the place.

- Al-Qassam confirmed that 10 soldiers were turned into pieces during the Zinna ambush.
