Yedioth Ahronoth reveals in its investigation entitled “Nir Oz - The Battle That Didn’t Happen on October 7”:

It was not until around 1:30 p.m., after nearly seven hours of massacre, kidnapping, looting and destruction, that the first Israeli security forces entered Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7 – by which time they had nothing left to fight for: either they had been killed or taken.

About a quarter of the kibbutz members were kidnapped, and the gunmen and robbers who had been operating unhindered throughout that black morning had already returned to Gaza, and unlike the other settlements, in Nir Oz, which took the hardest hit on 7/10, not a single shot was fired by the forces or Israeli security.


Nearly half a year after that fatal day, the “7 Days” investigation reveals testimonies, videos and documents that say unequivocally: The army was aware of the massacre on Kibbutz Nir Oz in real time, and there were numerous opportunities for the forces to reach the kibbutz and fight against Hamas militants - but all this did not happen.


The first message about the infiltration of militants into Nir Oz appeared on the kibbutz's WhatsApp application at 7:15 - the head of the kibbutz tried to contact the security forces and the Israeli army, but no one responded - also at 9:00 the kibbutz residents tried to contact the army, but it did not come either .
