An Israeli doctor working in a hospital affiliated with Sde Teman prison reveals to Haaretz newspaper violations against Palestinian prisoners from Gaza:

The doctor delivered a letter to the Ministers of Defense and Health and the government’s legal advisor about the harsh methods used against prisoners

Feeding in the hospital is done in abusive ways, and detainees are forced to defecate in diapers and handcuffed

- In the last week alone, two detainees underwent leg amputation due to an injury that began when they were handcuffed

The hospital does not receive regular supplies of medicines and equipment and all of its patients are shackled on all fours

- Even young and healthy patients lose weight after about a week or two of hospitalization

Handcuffing detainees and keeping them blindfolded is according to instructions from the Ministry of Health

- More than half of the patients in the hospital are present with injuries due to the shackles that remain in their hands

Lidor Levy was seriously injured in 2009 in Gaza, but survived. He entered the Gaza Strip with the Israeli occupation forces in the current war, committed massacres, and left peacefully

Last Sunday, he went to the bodybuilding club in Ashdod, the place chosen by the 19-year-old Palestinian champion Moamen Al-Masalmeh to carry out the stabbing attack. Lidor was seriously injured in the heroic attack, along with two others.

A short while ago, the Israeli army announced that Lidor Levy had died of his wounds.
