In a poll by Action for Humanity, conducted before seven aid workers were killed in an Israeli airstrike it was found that:

a majority of 56% to 17% are in favour of a ban on the export of arms and spare parts to Israel
a majority of 59% to 12% voters say Israel is violating human rights in Gaza.
Labour voters: 71% to 9% back an arms export ban
Lib Dem voters: 70% to 14% support a ban
Conservative voters: 38% to 36% support the ban.

Astonishingly, Tory voters by two to one say Israel is violating human rights.

The YouGov poll had a 2,000-plus sample size. Among 2019 Tory voters the majority in favour of an exports ban is substantially larger than among voters intending to vote Conservative at the next election, suggesting voters swinging away from the Tories in particular are opposed to Israel’s actions.

Crucially, the Young Conservative Network, composed of Tories under 25, disbanded in Nov 2023.

It really looks like the Brits are much better than their government (and also their shadow government.

Despite the censorship and the anti-protest laws, awareness is growing and Brits side with Palestine.
