On the 48th anniversary of Earth Day: The Al-Aqsa flood is an extension of our people’s journey in defending the land and the holy sites until our legitimate rights are taken away and our aspirations for liberation and return are achieved.

The forty-eighth anniversary of Earth Day this year coincides with the heroic battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood that our patient people stationed and our valiant resistance in the Gaza Strip are waging, over the course of six full months, with all faith, sacrifice and steadfastness, in defense of their land, their rights and their sanctities, so that the souls of the martyrs of the Al-Aqsa Flood embrace today with the souls of the martyrs. A group of our people on March 30, 1976 AD, and their pure blood on the proud land of Gaza mixed with the blood of the martyrs of our people in the Triangle, Galilee and the Negev in our lands occupied in 1948 AD.

Land Day will remain an eternal national symbol, and an honorable milestone in the history of our people’s struggle, from which our people will draw inspiration in their ongoing journey, the signs of steadfastness, steadfastness, sacrifice, and challenge, to keep the flame of resistance burning in the face of the occupation, its fascist government, and the flocks of its settlers, in all the squares of the nation, which will never end and will not. It will be extinguished only by comprehensive liberation and the establishment of a fully sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

*We are in the Hamas movement, and on the forty-eighth anniversary of Land Day*; We pray for the souls of our righteous martyrs in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Jerusalem, the occupied interior, and in the refugee camps and diaspora. We ask God Almighty to heal the wounded and sick, and we send a greeting of pride and honor to our resistance and our victorious brigades, and we affirm the following:

First: The historic land of Palestine, with Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque at its heart, is the focus of the conflict with the Zionist enemy, and there is no way to liberate it except by consolidating the option of comprehensive resistance in the face of the Zionist enemy and strengthening national unity.

Second: We will remain loyal to the martyrs whose blood watered the land of Palestine in defense of it, and in defense of the Islamic and Christian sanctities therein, since the feet of the usurpers set foot on its blessed land, and we will not give up an inch of it, no matter the sacrifices, and this enemy will not succeed through the crimes of settlement, Judaization, massacres of murder, and war of genocide. Ethnic cleansing and displacement prevent it from achieving its aggressive goals, whether in the Gaza Strip or throughout our occupied territories.

Third: We pay tribute to the valor, heroism and bravery of our victorious resistance, and the legendary epic that our people are creating in the Gaza Strip, in the battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood, and we salute the masses of our people in the West Bank and the stationed in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, in our land occupied in 1948, and in the refugee camps and diaspora, and we call on them to further cohesion and strengthen All forms of resistance and escalation of engagement with this enemy at the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Fourth: Liberating the land of Palestine, liberating Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa and the holy sites, ending the occupation, and establishing a fully sovereign Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital, is a project that does not concern the Palestinian people alone, but rather is a historical responsibility that falls on the shoulders of the Arab and Islamic nation and free people in all the world, and it is an issue that must come together. The nation today, before ever before, in light of the escalation of the crimes of the Nazi occupation and its continuing terrorism against our people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and the occupied city of Jerusalem.
