France will begin special flights to evacuate its "most vulnerable citizens" from Haiti amid the ongoing armed conflict in the country, the French Foreign Ministry said.

“Due to the suspension of commercial flights from Port-au-Prince, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence, will open special flights to allow the most vulnerable citizens to leave the country,” the ministry said in a statement.
