It has been 103 days since the Shuja’iyya Ambush. In which a battalion from the “elite” Golani Brigade entered the Shuja’iyya neighborhood.

During the battalion visit to the Shuja’iyya neighborhood both of their battalions commanders were eliminated and another 8 of their battalions soldiers were annihilated.

Here is a summary of how the ambush happened:

-Israeli soldiers were approaching a building when suddenly they came under fierce gunfire. Multiple Israeli soldiers sustained injuries due to this and communications with the soldiers was completely cut off leading to fears that the injured Israelis were captured by the forces of Al Qassam Brigades.


The Israeli military then sent reinforcements to go save the soldiers who were injured and then those soldiers who were on the rescue mission also got annihilated.

Following this second incident the Israeli military decided to send yet another group of soldiers to rescue the rescue team, those forces then suffered injures.


The Israeli military finally succeeded in rescuing the injured soldiers and retrieving the bodies of their soldiers due to the intense and heavy airstrikes carried out by the Air Force.


None of the soldiers from the Al Qassam Brigades was eliminated in this battle.


The Israeli military never learned their lesson from when they were ambushed in 2014 in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, in which 16 of their soldiers were killed and another 56 wounded.

The Zionist entity has not yet revealed how many of their soldiers were wounded during this 2023 battle.
