🚨The occupation imposes new and impossible restrictions on West Bank residents to enter Al-Quds during Ramadan.

Only men above 55 years old, women over 50 years old, and children under 10 years old may enter. However, children cannot enter in most cases due to the lack of a companion that meets these specifications.

Further, one must obtain a permit and a magnetic card, which are very rarely given and only to a small percentage of Palestinians after security approval, an intelligence investigation, long wait times, and a fee.

Finally, the occupation is forcing Palestinians who have to record their fingerprint, handprint, and faceprint, as well as their magnetic card ID upon entering Al-Quds. They force them to exit Al-Quds in the same way, mandating that they leave before 5 PM. This means that, at most, they can perform only two out of the five daily prayers in Islam, and are deprived of the evening, night, and taraweeh prayers, as well as i'tikaf.

Local sources confirmed to Al-Quds Al-Bawsala that the occupation send text messages to dozens of Palestinians that entered Al-Quds last Friday: "Leave the land of 'israel' quickly, or else we will deny your permit."
