My goal in that call was to strengthen his steadfastness and console him. I found him more steadfast than me and he has patience that I cannot bear.

His words are full of strength and humility, an oak tree that does not bend or break. I wanted to convey to him a message of the importance of his word in conveying the crimes and barbarism of the occupation, but he preceded me by saying,

“We will continue to cover until our last breath. This is our duty, our role, and our profession.”

He asked me to convey his greetings to everyone, hoping that we will meet in better conditions than that.
