New details from the investigation into the shooting of the three abductees in Shuja'iya: Five days before the deadly shooting that killed them, a combat helicopter bombed the building where the three were being held by Hamas militants.

The airstrike occurred during a confrontation between Golani Brigade soldiers and the gunmen holding the abductees. Golani forces directed a combat helicopter, which bombed the building, killing the militants.

The targeting occurred without the soldiers knowing that there were abductees being held there, but apparently, they were not harmed by the building's bombing as they managed to escape after the militants were killed.
