The Israeli military announced the closure of the investigation into the “Sde Teiman” detention facility case, dropping all charges against the soldiers who were accused of sexually assaulting Palestinian detainees.
In a statement, the Israeli army spokesperson said the indictments were cancelled due to what he described as “exceptional and unprecedented circumstances” that affected the course of the investigation. These included difficulties in transferring sensitive investigative materials from the police, as well as legal complications that hindered the continuation of the case.

The data allegedly came from two major databases containing records on over 500 million Americans, both living and deceased ,including Social Security numbers, birth details, and family information.
According to the complaint, the engineer said he had the data on a thumb drive and wanted help transferring it to his personal computer so he could “sanitize” it before using it at his new company.
The whistle-blower also claims the engineer believed he might receive a presidential pardon if the action was illegal.
