Haniyeh establishes five principles for achieving any agreement with the occupation

Brother Mujahid Ismail Haniyeh, head of the movement’s political bureau, stressed five principles in order to achieve a comprehensive agreement to stop the war, which are: a comprehensive ceasefire, the complete withdrawal of the occupation army from all the territory of the Gaza Strip, the complete and unconditional return of the displaced, and securing humanitarian issues, including relief, shelter, and reconstruction, and ending the siege. He said: “I tell you very clearly and with all responsibility and impartiality that the enemy has so far evaded giving clear guarantees and commitments, especially in stopping the aggressive war on the Gaza Strip,” stressing that The movement's leadership absolutely rejects any agreement that does not end the war on Gaza, does not return the displaced to their homes, or does not guarantee the departure of the occupation army from the Gaza Strip and secure humanitarian issues for our people.

The head of the movement explained that the agreement must include three interconnected stages and must also include international guarantees to oblige the occupation to do what is agreed upon, indicating that the occupation and its government bear responsibility for not reaching an agreement because it does not want to abide by the basic principles of the agreement.

Haniyeh stressed that the Hamas movement and its leadership are open to continuing negotiations and any formulas that will end this aggression and these crimes against our Palestinian people, indicating in his speech that Hamas will not trade for any drop of blood of a child, woman, sheikh, old woman, mujahid, or fighter from among our people.

Haniyeh warned that the enemy is waging a psychological war against our people, and there are attempts to drive wedges and create and spread chaos, but all of that will fail and will not succeed, warning against falling prey to rumors and malicious media campaigns.

The head of the movement praised the great, heroic and legendary steadfastness of our people in the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, as the battle enters its sixth month, and it has not achieved any of its goals, as it has not eliminated Hamas and the resistance. It has not recovered any of its prisoners and will not recover any of them except through an agreement. He explained that the occupation He also failed to displace our people and disperse the Gaza Strip despite all the massacres, massacres, war of extermination and ethnic cleansing that he carried out on our Palestinian people.

Haniyeh stressed that the Hamas movement is following up on the arrangements for the internal Palestinian situation and that it is more concerned than ever with the unity of the Palestinian people and with rebuilding its political and leadership components on correct and sound foundations. He said, “This entails three levels. The first is the leadership level and rebuilding the national authority within the framework of the Palestine Liberation Organization through Elections for a Palestinian National Council.

The second level is to agree to form a national consensus government with specific tasks and for a temporary period of time until the general legislative and presidential elections and a Palestinian National Council are held. The third level is to agree on a political program for our people at this stage. He added: We have presented a political approach at this level, which is represented by: We support ending the Zionist occupation of our land in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and establishing an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty, with Jerusalem as its capital, with the right of return and self-determination.

The head of the Political Bureau called on all our people everywhere, especially our people in Jerusalem, in the West Bank, in exile, and in the diaspora, to support the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood to protect Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque to confront any conspiracies targeting our lands and our Islamic and Christian sanctities, and called on them to invest in the blessed month of Ramadan.

Haniyeh saluted all the resistance fronts that support the battle of our people and support the resistance, whether the Lebanon front of heroism and redemption, the Yemen front of wisdom, courage, boldness, heroism and authenticity, and the Iraq front.
