🔺Israeli Channel 13 streamed an Israeli prison where Palestinian hostages are kept in dark cells, with no mattresses, no clean clothes, cuffed legs while cuffed to each other 24/7 and non-stop Hebrew music, playing loudly.

At first the propagandists masquerading as journalists and the jailers make it seem like the harsh conditions are just for the "Nukhbas", but later we see that the other prisoners get pretty much the same treatment.

An 82 year-old Gazan woman with Alzheimer's was held for two months as an "illegal combatant" in this prison.

No personal belongings are allowed, the food is low-quality and sometimes rotten and in very small amounts.

In addition to the systematic humiliation, there is - even though it's not presented in the piece for obvious reasons - actual torture and beatings.

* Nukhbas are the Al Qassam Brigades' commando unit but Israel brands anyone arrested after October 7th as such

🔻Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid:

The government has lost the trust of the Americans and the international community, and we need change.

Israel needs to restore public confidence in its political level, and whoever fails cannot succeed.

The government is doing nothing but fighting with the Americans and has no plans regarding the return of citizens in the north.

🔻Lawyer Paul Reicher in the ICJ:

“I will show that based on the applicable and the well-established and undisputed facts Israel’s 56-year occupation of Palestinian territory is manifestly and gravely unlawful, and that international law requires that it’d be brought to an end completely and unconditionally.”

🔻[1/2] Why does the Israeli army admit to some casualties if it can hide them all? The answer lies in strategic and political considerations. In war, losses are inevitable, and concealing all casualties could lead to heightened suspicions, eroding the army's credibility. Many casualties cannot be obscured entirely, but some can be hidden among the few that are acknowledged when entering hospitals or burial sites.
Additionally, the decision to disclose casualties depends on various factors:

Families of the soldiers: After the military explains the importance of concealing losses, the family decides whether to announce the death. Families on the extreme right often accept concealment, recognizing that a significant number of infantry forces come from this group.

Soldiers and officers from affluent backgrounds, political families, military, clergy, celebrities, activists, and battalion commanders are directly recognized.

Jewish soldiers and officers residing abroad, along with their families, remain unrecognized, as their families are indifferent to acknowledgment.

Mercenaries, referred to as 'guests' in Hebrew media, and their substantial losses are not acknowledged.

Financial incentives may influence families to accept non-recognition, while others prioritize holding a funeral and receiving condolences over financial considerations.

🔺United Nations:
There are reports confirming that at least two Palestinian detainees were raped by Israeli terrorist soldiers in Gaza, while others were reportedly threatened with rape and sexual violence. The soldiers took pictures of female detainees in humiliating conditions and posted them on the Internet.
Israeli terrorism today will have greater effects after the end of the war, and we will learn about events that we have never heard of before that will ignite a volcano of anger within us, and we do not know when it will explode or how.
