A bulk cargo ship called RUBYMAR, registered in the United Kingdom, flying the flag of Belize, and managed by GMZ Ship Management CO SA, based in Lebanon, owned by a British marine managers company based in London.

The ship had the phrase “there is an armed guard on board” on its electronic identification on navigation sites.

Due to the siege on Gaza, his son Baraa died suffering from kidney failure after being prevented from traveling for treatment because he was one of the sons of the Qassam leaders wanted by Israel.


His other son died in the current Gaza war after a bombing targeted the house in which he was present
