I have heard from reliable sources that the UAE possesses tapes on powerful Arab men and army generals doing questionable things.
One of them was the former actual ruler of Algeria, who appointed the current president. He was killed by another general (poisoned) so that the latter could take over.
The former general ruler was reportedly involved in having sex and abusing young boys, and the UAE provided special accommodations for him. And he was a frequent visitor to the UAE.
During his rule, he handed over ports, companies, and military deals to the UAE.
