Many Syrians who lived in the Iranian-Assad regimeโs occupied territories are visiting Idlib, which was under HTS control, and are surprised by how it looks.
The same government that governed Idlib is now running Syria.

๐ฝTransporting weapons from one city to another by placing them in a cake. The story seems fictional, but it is a true story that took place in the city of Jerusalem in 1993.
We previously mentioned the difficulties that the resistance fighters in Al-Qassam Brigades faced due to the scarcity of weapons,
and we said that there were two rifles that were used alternately between the mujahideen in Gaza and the West Bank.
Our story today is about one of the strangest methods used by the resistance to transport weapons from one city to another in occupied Palestine.
This story was told by the freed Palestinian hostage Tayseer Suleiman in the Secrets of the Resistance podcast. He is one of the heroes of the story, along with his companion. The other hero is the second engineer of Al- Qassam Brigades, Muhyi al-Din al-Sharif, who was martyred in the prisons of the Palestinian Authority due to severe torture.
This story happened in the early nineties. Al- Qassam Brigades group in Bethlehem, which included Muhyiddin al-Sharif, needed weapons to carry out an operation.
Engineer Muhyiddin al-Sharif contacted Tayseer, who was responsible for Al-Qassam Brigades group in occupied Jerusalem, and asked him to send him two pistols. These pistols were 5mm and 7mm.
It was a very difficult matter, especially at that time.
Al-Qassam Brigades groups in various cities were carrying out intensive operations, and transporting weapons would be difficult, especially with the many checkpoints, searches, and raids.
Taiseer and his friend stood in front of a birthday cake shop and started thinking out loud, each saying to the other,
โThis is appropriate.โ Taiseer and his friend entered the cake shop and asked the owner to prepare a cake for them and leave it without writing anything on it. He paid for it and left.
They arrived home, cut the cake into layers, put the gun inside the cake, and decorated it with the cream that the shop owner had given them. Here, a friend told him that things had worked out.
They placed the cake uncovered and set off to deliver the weapons to Muhyiddin Sharif. They were able to pass through the first and second checkpoints, then it was the turn of the third checkpoint.
Here, the occupation army officer told them in Hebrew that it looks delicious here. Tayseer replied in Hebrew, โPlease taste it.โ
Of course, Tayseer was fluent in Hebrew, and his university major was journalism in Hebrew.
According to Tayseerโs description, the way he tasted it was very disgusting at that time. Tayseer was afraid that the piece of nylon that he wrapped the weapon in would appear after the officer tasted it. He allowed them to pass,
and 12 hours after the weapon arrived, an occupation intelligence officer was killed with this weapon.
