“Israeli” authorities have detained Dr. Abdullah Salameh Al-Balawi, while heading to Gaza as part of a relief mission organized by PANZMA, with official “Israeli” approval.

He was arrested on December 19 at the King Hussein Bridge border and is being held at Petah Tikva Detention Center.

His detention has been extended until December 26, 2024, with a ban on lawyer access and no explanation provided.

Dr. Abdullah, a respected general surgeon, has participated in similar missions before, without issues.

His family urges the Jordanian authorities to act immediately to secure his release. It is unacceptable for him to remain detained.

Earlier today, Israel randomly opened fire on civilians in Khan Younis and attacked a school sheltering displaced families.

Ambulances were barred from entering the area for an extended period. In response, local residents rushed to help and used horse-drawn carts to transport the wounded to hospitals.

Ahmed Abu Atiwi, the driver of a horse-drawn cart used to transport the injured in “Israeli” attacks on civilians in Khan Younis, was killed by “Israeli” soldiers as he attempted to rescue more wounded individuals.
