🔽 An event that happened to Commander Basem Issa during Operation Musab bin Omair in 1993

The story of the child who was watching Commander Emad Aql as he was chasing the soldier who was driving a military jeep.

Commander Basem said that this child stood tall, he did not fear or scream,

However he continued to watch the details of the entire operation, despite Commander Basem asking him more than once to leave the site of the operation

23 years after the operation, Commander Basem was surprised that this child had grown up to become one of the field commanders in one of the brigades affiliated with Al-Qassam Brigades.

This field commander tells us:

I was a child of 7 years old. I witnessed the operation in all its details.

I saw Commander Basem running from the mosque to the car, driving towards the street opposite Musab Mosque, and seeing the path of the patrol.

I saw two mujahideen shooting at the jeep and I saw Commander Imad chasing the soldier driver quickly while he was trying to escape despite having a rifle in his possession. Commander Imad killed him with bullets to the head.


I can never forget the scene of Commander Imad and since that time I have loved Al-Qassam Brigades and I have dedicated myself to jihad for the sake of Allah
