Detainees, including women and children, were subjected to harsh torture and treatment that degraded human dignity, including stripping and severe beating.

We received testimonies from female detainees who were directly sexually harassed by the occupation army soldiers and forced to strip and remove their hijabs.

Soldiers made threats of rape and assault against female and male detainees and their families as part of the torture and extortion process.

Some detainees were subjected to bargaining and extortion operations in order to cooperate with the occupation army and the General Security Service (Shin Bet) in exchange for reducing their torture or releasing them.

The occupation forces continue to forcibly disappear detainees and subject them to brutal torture and violence from the moment of arrest until the moment some of them are released.

The esteemed and courageous professor took the University of Bristol to the Employment Tribunal on the basis of unlawful discrimination for his beliefs in breach of the Equaity Act 2010. The judge today ruled that David Miller was, in fact, discriminated against.
