Russian volunteers fighting for 🇺🇦 have crossed into Belgorod Oblast in Russia and have taken control of some settlements along the border.

Russian forces have countered, and clashes are ongoing.

🇺🇦 control on the Zaporizhzhia front partially expanded south of Huliaipole.

🇷🇺 forces have advanced in the north of the frontline city of Marinka located on the edge of Donetsk city and the pre-2022 frontline.

The incursion into Belgorod which started yesterday is now confirmed in one location, south of Novaya Tavolzhanka.

Shebekino has been heavily hit with artillery over the past two days and its reported there have also been attacks towards the town.

🇺🇦 have retaken the settlement of Novodarivka.

Russian sources indicate that Neskuchne (to the east) may have also been retaken by 🇺🇦 forces.

🇺🇦 aligned Freedom of Russia Legion and Russian Volunteer Corps partially expanded control in the south of the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in Belgorod Oblast, Russia.

Over the next week, it appears that the largest offensive for the past 7 months will begin. During a large-scale offensive, it's important to remember that there are stricter rules regarding OPSEC, which significantly impact the release and sharing of information.

As a result, there will be a rise in rumours, unsupported claims, and deliberate misinformation as people try to make sense of and explain (explain away) what is happening. This means that changes to the map may not always reflect the significance of the reported events.

I will make updates to the map as soon as I can verify the information. It's important to note that if a genuine change has occurred, evidence will eventually be provided, and the map will then be updated accordingly.

The settlement of Novodonets'ke is now contested after 🇺🇦 attacked from the northwest side.

🇺🇦 have made partial advances around Bakhmut.

🇺🇦 have advanced south of Orikhiv towards the first main 🇷🇺 line of defences.
