Как-то брали духовский укреп сразу после хребта. И видим: один дух – сильно раненный, может раз 10 в него попали, и боеприпасов у него не осталось. Молодой, лицо было не тронуто – лет 15 или 16 ему было. И, когда мои пацаны подбежали к нему, хотели его осмотреть, он в этот момент открыл глаза и разжал руки с двумя гранатами. Подорвал себя, пытаясь забрать остальных. Но пацаны вовремя отпрыгнули за горку, поэтому из моих людей никто не пострадал. Но этот момент я запомнил.

В Чечне я кучу раз сталкивался с духами – очень много наемников попадалось: тех же самых узбеков, таджиков, негров там всяких. Эти будут до последнего валяться у тебя в ногах, просить о пощаде, деньги предлагать, и так далее. Но в Сирии я с таким ни разу не столкнулся: игилоиды были фанатиками своего дела, шли до последнего в атаку, в обороне сидели до последней капли крови.

Могу сказать одно: нам попался достойный противник. После таких боев тебе ни разу не стыдно, что ты шел против такого противника и победил его. Именно поэтому лично я не позволял своим парням издеваться над трупами духов. Одно дело – забрать что-нибудь из их снаряжения. Тем более, что боевики имели много западного вооружения, обвесы, амуницию. Такое в бою может пригодиться. А вот издеваться над трупами или ерничать – нет. Я считаю: либо ты воин, и в честном и открытом бою берешь себе трофей, либо ты стервятник и занимаешься херней.

I can say one thing: we got a worthy opponent. After such fights, you are never ashamed that you went against such an opponent and defeated him. That is why I personally did not allow my guys to mock spirit corpses. It's one thing to take something from their equipment. Moreover, the militants had a lot of Western weapons, body kits, ammunition. This might come in handy in combat. But to mock the corpses or to scoff - no. I think: either you are a warrior, and in an honest and open battle you take a trophy for yourself, or you are a vulture and deal with garbage.

Отбит очередной накат на наши позиции. Штурмовой отряд противника подошел на расстояние стрелкового боя. После чего подключилась наша артиллерия. Противник понес большие потери и отступил. Наш батальон и вся 4 бригада продолжает надежно удерживать свои позиции под Артемовском.
