Example of rss feed (generated by my service) & example of how rss feeds look in discord forum
Hello everyone!
Writing a bit earlier because I have an interesting idea. Today, I noticed the update to Vuetify 3.4.1 on GitHub. However, I thought: what if we create a channel specifically for notifications about updates on GitHub (for example, for Vuetify, Vue, Vue Router, Nuxt, and any other frameworks)?
I liked this idea. I even decided to see how it would look (see the image) on the Discord Forum Channel. Honestly, I like it. You'll also be able to set up roles for notifications.
However, it might not be convenient for everyone. Since we are in Telegram, I also considered the possibility of creating a similar channel for Telegram.
So, to determine whether a channel for GitHub update notifications for Vue, Vuetify, Nuxt, etc., is needed at all, I suggest letting you decide.
If the majority prefers Telegram (because having everything in one place is really convenient), we might have to wait a bit longer than if I did it on Discord. Currently, I use a pretty convenient service that works exclusively for Discord (maybe you already know it - monitorss.xyz), and it's self-hosted.
So, vote for the option that suits you best. I'll be waiting for your votes. Do you think 7-14 days will be enough? 🤔
PS: Currently, it looks worse (single line description). I think it could be fixed.
