FixedFloat (ff.io) has officially stopped serving users in India.
The restriction was not imposed by the Indian government or through a website block. Instead, FixedFloat itself updated its Terms of Service, prohibiting individuals and businesses located in India from using its crypto swap services.
The move comes amid India’s strict crypto compliance environment, including FIU-IND registration requirements, PMLA rules, 30% crypto taxation and 1% TDS. Rather than navigating the regulatory burden and potential enforcement risks, FixedFloat appears to have chosen to voluntarily exit the Indian market.
Indian users attempting to access the platform may now encounter geo-restriction errors, meaning FixedFloat’s crypto swapping services are no longer officially available in India.
