There's like several particular reasons why i named myself like that.
Okay so.
My name 'Eclipse' came to me with the realization and observation over myself.
I've noticed that i couldn't pick between many things, or even personality. would that be a thing, a choice, or whatsoever. And depending on what you like or whatever you prefer, people could easily call what type you are.
And most of the time, i heard how others call other people 'Sun' or 'Moon' person. I've tried to understand who i am. But I'm either both or niether none.
Moon personality does suit me, or Sun personality as well.. So i came to the fact that i can be both!
I've always were fascinated with the existence of 'Eclipse.' Solar Eclipse, Lunar and everything like that.
The mythology of the Eclipse is also very interesting i must say, i was.. somehow, always drawn to this natural event happening over years. And i really wish to see it one day with my own eyes. (With glasses ofc.)
So yeah.
I didn't even realize that over the years I've created so many characters that had their connection with the 'Eclipse' itself. Either being One, or being connected with it. I've lost count.
So... I don't remember exactly, but i named myself Eclipse 5 years ago and i still love being called like that, it feels like my real name. The name that i always wanna hear when people call me.
So yeah, Eclipse is the meaning of two personalities mixed together which makes me.
But hey, that doesn't mean i don't love my real name, i love it as much as the name Eclipse. So call me whatever you want.
