Eloquence TTS (Android) — Alpha Testing Update
Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for the enthusiasm and the detailed feedback during the Eloquence TTS for Android Alpha. We truly appreciate your support as we work to bring this voice back to the platform. Below is a summary of what we’re currently investigating, confirming, and prioritizing based on your reports.
Bugs & Issues (by priority)
High
TTS does not activate immediately after subscribing.
Enabling Force Language while using TTS stops speech.
Pitch changes have no effect on some voice profiles.
Importing a dictionary fails unless a word is added manually.
Medium
Eloquence falls back to a secondary TTS instead of saying “Please register.”
Adjusting speech rate from the TalkBack reading menu does not affect Eloquence.
TTS reports “not registered” after reboot, or Google TTS is used instead.
Low
Unexpected behavior on devices with an unsupported system language.
Incompatibility with the AutoTTS app.
Odd readings of certain phrases.
Legacy issue: extra “comma” or “dot” spoken when punctuation processing is off.
Incorrect pronunciation of times (e.g., “1:00”, “3:00”).
Uppercase Spanish words are spelled out.
