Our Datavis Meetup in Berlin didn’t happen for a very long time, but we are back in planning mode and we need your help!
We are looking for speakers who want to talk about projects related to the following topics. Do you know someone? Maybe yourself?
Climate crisis:
What are the modes of communication? Scientific vis and vis for the public. Is there a difference? Visualisation for future? Novel approaches? Iconic visualisations?
Accessibility in visualisation:
What are best practices? How to test for accessibility? What aspects of accessibility are there? What are fallback methods?
Corona:
How did the perception and usage of visualisations/models change with Corona? How to visualise Corona numbers? How to collect Corona numbers? Too many numbers, too little empathy?
Any hints to people who could show related projects, who have thought about these things, who want to talk about other aspects of these topics or who have another super interesting topic would be super useful!
