FAKEOUT & RETURN TO CONSOLIDATION
A strong rejection at $49.2k brought the price directly back into the continued consolidation triangle and now back to awaiting which direction is going to be confirmed.
Unfortunately an unfilled weekly pivot has a appeared that usually has a high chance of being filled - so it can be looking like a bearish break out at this stage. Some more positive news from the US government would certainly help sway things but right now not looking great.
A break up of $48.5k will almost certainly take us to $50k and a break down of $47k can realistically take us to $45k.
I would not be trading until confirmation of direction.

NEW ATH EXPECTED
At this stage it would be pretty amazing to not hit a new ATH. Expecting a lot of FOMO'ing in now from retail and armchair traders especially over the weekend. I expect the PayPal crypto buyers to start coming in force as BTC will start to eclipse the headlines as it nears the ATH. Elon/Tesla has made $1b on BTC which will no doubt do the rounds. I do expect if we get to ATH soon (likely over the weekend) then it will smash through with a high target of about $68.2k as a target.
It is all pretty speculative at this stage with the ETF news carrying 99% of this price action.
Start to be on high alert as a sell off can literally come at any point now - if you are already in BTC then taking some profit at $60k is a no brainer and then its a case of just seeing where it goes. We will be in price discovery pretty soon which is anyone's guess at that stage - as mentioned $68.2k is my approx. target.
