This is a heartbreaking image of #British soldiers lighting a cigarette for a wounded #German prisoner during #WWI in 1916. Some may see a nice moment despite hellish circumstances, but I see evidence of #whatawaste each #European war has been.

Disgusting features are deliberately placed in unnecessary spots to rid society of it's cultural understanding & expectations.

To notice & mourn our architectural decline, is to be of great worth, nothing less.

Being so used to such ugliness, many haven't stopped to notice the downgrading of #European culture. If you see it, you're not alone & shouldn't have been made to feel so.

We're far greater than this, you shouldn't have to remind yourself in silence.
